In-line aquarium water filter with 1/4" ports with 12mm hose tail.

This in-line filter comes complete with a sediment filter cartridge and 12mm hose tails. It is ready to be added to an aquarium feed from either a canaster filter or a sump. These units must be installed vertically, but can either be installed in a sump, on the floor or on a vertical surface using the bracket supplied. We use these units and the larger models to maintain perfect water clarity in our seahorse breeding systems. The use of this type of filter has been pioneered by Dan Underwood and other seahorse breeders in the USA and are perfect for removing free floating bacteria and other unwanted particles which over time build up in a closed circuit system and can cause problems with water quality, fish illness and infection.
